Queen of Hearts Rules of Play
1. The Queen of Hearts shall be played on a manufactured board purchased thru a license distributer.
2. Tickets will be sold for $1.00 each. 70% of gross ticket sales are the prize money while the remaining 30% goes to the White Hall VFD Org. 0937.
3. Game drawing dates will be each Friday, starting Friday November 18th, 2011 and ending Friday November 30th, 2012 (54 weeks or until jackpot is won and a new game is not started.)
4. The purchaser holding the weekly winning ticket will pick a window or indicate a window number from the display board.
5. To win the jackpot, the weekly winning ticket holder must choose the window containing the Queen of Hearts
6. Drawings will be held Friday nights at 9:30pm during the White Hall VFD Bingo session, located at 3183 Irvine Rd, Richmond KY.
7. If the Queen of Hearts is not drawn, the jackpot rolls over to next weeks drawing.
8. The jackpot will continue to build until the Queen of Hearts is drawn. This could take up to 54 weeks.
9. If you are not going to be present at the drawing, you must declare an window number written on your ticket stub, otherwise a disinterested third party, selected at random, will choose an envelope number on your behalf. Winners will receive the same percentage of prize money regardless of whether they are present or not.
10. If the winning ticket holder picks the Queen of Hearts, they will receive 100 % of the jackpot.
11. Members of the White Hall VFD are NOT allowed to purchase tickets.
12. Chairpersons and co‐chairpersons of the event are not permitted to purchase tickets.
13. The White Hall VFD Inc. will withhold all taxes from winnings where applicable.
14. Winners will be required to provide proper identification and information for taxes by presentation of an official state identification card.White Hall VFD Org 0937
15. All tickets and monies will be accounted for by the White Hall VFD in accordance with all state requirements.
16. If the State Gaming License runs out during a game, tickets will be drawn on the last night until someone draws the Queen of Hearts and wins the current jackpot.
17. If your ticket is drawn and you choose an envelope containing a 'Pay Card' as listed on the "Prize Payment Schedule", you will receive the corresponding 'Pay Card' prize plus the corresponding stage 'Weekly Ticket Winner' prize(Example: Stage 1 = $25 for getting your weekly ticket drawn + $30 for any King = total winnings of $55)
18. In most cases, the winnings for each drawing will be paid by check to the winner, which the organization will cash if at all possible.
19. Tickets may be purchased from sellers authorized by The White Hall VFD
20. Ticket sales will end on Fridays at 9:00 pm for that weeks drawing. Ticket sales for the following Friday drawing will start on Friday after current week drawing is completed.
21. After the drawing at 9:30pm on Friday all ticket stubs will be destroyed.
22. In case of emergency or inclement weather resulting in closure of the Jack Pot Charity Bingo, the raffle will be held during the next scheduled White Hall VFD bingo session.
23. The Kentucky Charitable Gaming Commission and these house rules are the official rules governing this raffle.
